The Jesus Diet: End of Week 2

The second week of my diet blew right by.  I was very busy that week, and because I was essentially eating the same things each day, I didn't feel the need to record each meal for every day.

While I still hadn't really seen much of a change in my body  (i.e. not being able to really fit into my clothes yet), I was prepared that it would take around 30 days to get to that point. Disciplining yourself to stay on the course you're headed even if you don't see results, I must say, is probably the hardest part. Because if you started to see a change instantly, it would be so much easier to do the hard work that's involved. But not seeing those changes right away, or even after 2 or 3 weeks can be discouraging. I would like to say though, it is totally worth it, and the longer you stick with something - anything - it pays off more the longer you do it.

Last Recipe of Week 2:

3-4 cloves garlic, minced

olive oil

salt to taste

Instructions:

1. Heat olive oil in a frying pan

2. Add garlic and wait for it to turn a nice light brown

3. Add baby spinach and stir continuously until leaves have wilted, add a small pinch of salt; set aside

4. In a different frying pan, add olive oil and onion; sautee until onion is transparent in color

5. Add ground lamb and cook all the way through.

6. Turn off burner, and add spinach mixture to the meat
